Does the ASMLrunnersclub also sponsor events that are not listed under Events?

Only the events listed under Events are sponsored. To ensure our vision of uniting runners, we typically don’t put other events on the calendar to ensure we have a nice gathering at the events we do sponsor.

How do I know if I subscribed for an event?

You can look up if you subscribed on our events page. Make sure you're logged in, and select the event. The signup page will show you if you've already signed up. If you want to cancel, you can unselect here as well (until the moment we pass all participants to the organization).

Can the ASML Runners Club promote or publish my event?

Our goal is to unite the runners at ASML. Promoting or publishing lots of other events will lead to more people going to different events, which is moving away from our goal. For that reason, our standard policy is to not publish other events than the ones we sponsor.

Can I view back the newsletters that were send out?

Yes, you can download distributed newsletters in our newsletters page.

When do we run on the trails and when do we run an urban route in the Wednesday Runday run?

Trails are fun, but it's easier to trip, fall or get injured when it's dark. That's why we run an urban route during winter time, until the moment the sun comes up at around 7:00 again. During summer time, we run trail routes.

What is the length of the running track?

The outer lane is 190 meter, more details can be found on the running track page

I don't have ASML runners clothing, or my clothing is outdated. How do I get the new style clothing

The ASML Runners Club no longer distributes ASML runners clothing. You can order the clothing yourself at the ASML Employee Shop

What criteria does the ASML Runners Club use when deciding which events to sponsor?

Since our vision is to unite people, and since we're volunteer run, we try to adhere as much as possible to the following criteria: * Event is not taking place close to another event (in date) * Event is near Veldhoven (< 25 kilometers), this ensures more people sign up * Event is small scale and doesn't easily sell out * Event can be subscribed to by sending a list of participants to the organization. This allows us to use our own registration process which is very light-weight.

Are there regular group training sessions available for members?

We do have a regular run on Wednesdays. We do however not wish to compete with local athletics clubs like GVAC or Eindhoven Atletiek, so we do not provide structural training plans. Please join those clubs for structured training

Does the ASML Runnersclub also sponsor other events than road running?

The ASML Runnersclub does facilitate some other types of running, that align with the goal to unite runners. For example, we have one or two Trailruns around Eindhoven on the calendar every year. Typically, apart from running together, this becomes a social event afterwards with chat an drinks. And we organize an Orienteering workshop, with a classroom introduction to learn the tricks, field training to practice them, and finally participating in an Orienteering race. All around Eindhoven.

Do I need to be a member of the ASML Runners Club to get sponsoring for the sponsored events.

Yes, for all events sponsored by the ASML Runners Club you need to be a member to participate. For the events sponsored by ASML (not the club), like the ASML Halve van Veldhoven and the ASML Marathon Eindhoven, you don't need to be a member of the ASML Runners Club

Do I need to be a member of the ASML Runners Club to join the ASML Marathon Eindhoven?

No, you don’t have to be a member. ASML sponsors the ASML Marathon Eindhoven for all employees.

Does ASML sponsor participation in the ASML Marathon Eindhoven of a friend or family member?

No, ASML sponsors participation of all ASML employees, but not for their friends or family members. They can sign up for the ASML Marathon Eindhoven themselves through the official website and pay for it.

I was too late subscribing for the ASML Marathon Eindhoven, can you place me on the reserve list?

You can actually place yourself on the reserve list

I've signed up via ASML for the marathon, but I can't participate anymore

You can cancel yourself by pressing sending an email with the cancellation to Golazo (info@marathoneindhoven.nl).

Does ASML sponsor the 5K or Kids marathon (1.6K) at the ASML Marathon Eindhoven as well?

No, only the distances 10K, Half Marathon and Full Marathon (including the relay) in the ASML Marathon Eindhoven are sponsored. All other distances are not sponsored.

I subscribed for the (half, full, 1/4) marathon. Will the start number and shirt be sent to my home address?

No. You can pick up your start number and marathon T-shirt at an ASML location prior to the race. About 10 days prior to the event, you’ll receive an email with detailed information about the start, pick-up time and location. Also see the marathon page for more information.

When can I get my start bib and shirt for the ASML Marathon Eindhoven?

We'll send out an email to your ASML email address to pick it up at ASML headquarters in the week before the event.

Can I still change the distance of my ASML subscription?

Some distances are still available, you can change to those distances yourself in the dashboard. The full and half marathon are sold out, but you can sign up for the reserve list of a different distance. If a spot opens up, you get assigned the new distance, and your old distance will be cancelled.

Can I change my shirt size?

Yes, you can change that in the Golazo dashboard via the link you got when you signed up

Can I change my expected time and start box

You can change that in the dashboard with the link you got when you signed up. But only until the bibs are printed. If you replace a colleague last minute (< 4 weeks before the event), the start box cannot be changed.

I'm on holiday when the bibs are handed out, how do I get my bib?

Please arrange with a colleague to collect your bib

I did not receive a confirmation email when I registered for the Marathon Eindhoven. How can I check if I am registered?

On your Profile page you can check if your registration is listed under 'upcoming events'. If it is shown together with a 'Cancel' button, you are successfully registered.

I would like to run 2 distances at the ASML Marathon Eindhoven, how can I do that?

Due to the huge amount of interest that exceeds the amount of tickets ASML can provide to its employees, employee sponsoring is only possible for one distance of your choice. If you want to run a second distance, you will have to buy it through regular non-ASML channels.

Are there post-race activities or social gatherings organized for participants?

Typically on Monday after the ASML Eindhoven Marathon, we invite everyone from ASML to look back with some interesting stories, presentations, stats and a potential prize ceremony if we won. You will be invited for this when you signed up

Do all participants in the relay marathon at the ASML Marathon Eindhoven need to be employed at ASML to be sponsored

Yes, all participants in an ASML relay team need to be an ASML employee. ASML will not sponsor the participation of non-ASML runners, they will have to take care of their own arrangements.

Is there a publicly available list of ASML Marathon Eindhoven participants or a way for participants to connect with each other?

Due to privacy reasons, we cannot share the list of participants from ASML. Right before the marathon starts, all participants (not just ASML) are available in the ASML Marathon Eindhoven app to follow during the race.

I work at another ASML location than Veldhoven. Can I pickup my bib and shirt there?

No, the handout is only in Veldhoven. However, we aim on addressing the bigger off-site locations a week before the Marathon, sending an email to all participating employees there in the To:, so they can together arrange a combined shirt and bib pickup to save a lot of individual travelling.

Can I pickup my bib at the TU/e (the public Marathon Eindhoven location)?

No, when you register via ASML, the bib will be sent to ASML and handed out there.

Can I pickup my bib and shirt at the day of the event?

No, pickup is at ASML in the week before the event. The last option is on Friday. What is left over may be brought to the ASML hangout, but nothing is managed or guaranteed.

How do I know if I'm a member of the ASML Runners Club?

Membership administration is now part of this site, just look at the membership section to see if you're a member or not.

I have paid my yearly contribution fee but the membership section still mentions that I did not yet pay.
