Rules
To ensure the safety of all when running in a group, the following rules apply:
Place on the road:
- We run on the sidewalk (or footpath) if available.
- We run on a bicycle path only if there is no sidewalk available.
- We run on the right side of the road if there is no sidewalk or bicycle path available.
- We run with maximum 2 people side by side. If it’s too small, run behind each other.
- As a group, we stay together. If a small or technical trail leads us to spread, we make sure everyone is still together after this path.
Outside conditions:
- If it’s dark, it’s mandatory to use a reflective vest (we’ve got reflective vests for you to use), and strongly advised to use lights.
- If it’s 30 degrees or above, runs will be cancelled.
- If there's thunder and lightning, runs will be cancelled.
- If it rains heavily, we suggest to wear a raincoat and make sure you're visible.
- If it’s hot, be sure to apply sun lotion to avoid being burned, and bring enough water to avoid dehydration.
- If it has been raining in the past couple of days, it’s advised to reduce the pace and use trail shoes to deal with slippery or muddy routes.
