Start to Run

Do you want to improve you fitness and be more energetic?

This is the moment to leave the couch and and learn how to become a runner by joining Start to Run. Within 10 weeks you will learn to run for 30 minutes without stopping. We all know that having an active life style will improve your overall body fitness and mental wellbeing. Starting a new life style and developing new habits may feel like a challenge and it is: on average it takes 66 days to form a new habit. But you can do it and we will help you along your journey!

What is Start to run

Start to run is a 10 week program that gradually builds up from alternating running and walking for short distances to being able to run 5k or 30 minutes. There will be 3 training sessions per week. Twice a week, either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday, we are starting from the Veldhoven campus running track. These sessions will be planned at the 17:15. The third run is on the weekend and starts at your front door. If you can walk for 15 minutes and are motivated to improve your fitness, this is the moment to start to run. Start to run series are scheduled on a regular basis and is hosted by the ASML runners club.
